Lisa Lane

Lisa Lane was born and raised in the small town of Bicknell, Indiana.  She is a second-generation P.E.O.  Her mother and sister were members of Chapter E Bicknell.  She also has a sister-in-law in P.E.O. in Greensboro, NC.  

Lisa attended Indiana State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in management information systems.  She then moved to Bloomington/Normal, Illinois to begin her career in technology working for a major insurance company.  In 1998, Lisa was initiated into Chapter NQ Normal.  Nine years ago, a job transfer relocated the Lane family to Georgia.  After getting settled, she transferred to Chapter AY Lawrenceville just in time to volunteer for the 2020 GA State Convention Steering Committee.

At the local level, Lisa has served as President, Vice President, Treasurer, Guard and on a wide variety of committees.  In addition to serving on the 2020 Steering Committee, she served on the GA State Scholarship Committee and the GA State Cottey Committee.  Lisa has attended 2 International Conventions, one as a guest and the other as a delegate for the state of Illinois.  She has also attended many State Conventions in Illinois and Georgia as a delegate.

Lisa and her husband Marc have been married more than 30 years.  Together they have 3 adult children, Austin, Elizabeth, and Catherine.  When not working, Lisa enjoys spending time with family, friends and their dog Basill.  She also enjoys traveling, crocheting, attending Broadway shows at the Fox Theater, and checking out new breakfast restaurants in search of the best biscuits and gravy next to her dads.
