Finance Committee

WHO?

Three members, one of which must be a past president of GA State Chapter. Members are appointed by the incoming State President. All members of the state executive board serve as ex-officio members. Each member serves a three-year term; terms are staggered and the senior member serves as chair.

WHAT?

Works closely with the state executive board and the Financial Data Assistant to identify revenue sources, manage expenses, and examine appropriate reporting systems. Prepare and present the annual budget of the General Fund to the GA State Convention.

WHEN?

Three meetings are required annually – usually occurring in August, January, and April.

WHY?

To ensure Georgia State Chapter maintains a strong financial position.
