Theresa grew up in Iowa, just two hours away from Iowa Wesleyan University. However, she didn’t learn about P.E.O. until many years later in Georgia. She married and moved from Iowa to Florida. During this time she was blessed with three sons; Tyler, Christian, and Joshua. While raising a family she completed her Associate in Arts General Education degree with honors. Theresa began working on the prerequisite classes to enter into a pharmacy program, but a move to Georgia put a halt on those studies. She chose instead, to focus on raising her family.
Theresa was initiated into P.E.O. Chapter BO in 2014, Braselton, Georgia. At the chapter level she served as President, Vice President, Treasurer, as well as serving on various projects and committees. At the state level she has served as Membership Chairman. She has been a delegate to the Georgia Convention, as well as serving as the 2019 Georgia State Convention Steering Committee Chair.
Theresa is currently working as a buyer at a major wholesale club. She is involved in serving at her church, and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity. She enjoys hiking, gardening, knitting/crocheting, making jewelry and reading. She treasures spending time with her family, and most especially her two grandchildren; Luna and Baylor.
